The MedExpress Spirit of Morgantown Triathlon features a sprint distance along with the olympic distance and half distance races.

The City of Morgantown has been rated among the top small cities in the nation, where the spectacular scenery and the fun of a university town come together naturally! Morgantown is excited to host the MedExpress Mountaineer Triathlon and looks forward to showcasing its city to you upon arrival. Prepare yourself for something very special. The red carpet is waiting!
Course Information:
The 7th Annual MedExpress Mountaineer Triathlon features a sprint distance along with the olympic distance and half distance races.
The half distance includes a 1.2 mile swim in the Monongahela River, a rolling 56 mile bike ride, and a 13.1 mile run on a new flat and fast course along the Mon River.
The Olympic race includes a 1500m swim or 5k Run, 40k bike, and 6.2 mile run
The sprint includes a 750m swim or 5k Run, 20k bike, and 5k run.
The women's only triathlon event is on Saturday and features a 250 meter swim, followed by a 7 mile bike and finishing with a 2 mile run.
