2014 Southern Vermont Sprint Triathlon:
• This is an excellent tri for a beginner or a person out to enjoy themselves during their training for a longer distance tri.
• The bike is flat (for Vermont), the swim is in a very calm lake, and the run cuts through some nice trails in Manchester.
Course Information:
Southern Vermont Sprint Triathlon Race Course:
- The race begins with an 8 mile bike ride to Emerald Lake State Park followed by a 1/4 mile swim in Emerald Lake.
- Participants will then ride their bikes back to Hunter Park and finish the race with a 5K starting at Hunter Park, down route 30 and back through the Manchester Rec Park.
- The run does not cross any major intersections.
Directions:
• Hunter Park Road is off of 7A in Manchester, about 2 miles north of the circles.
• Hunter Park also hosts the more widely known, Riley Rink.
