Open to ages 5-11. A fully supported kids’ triathlon with water stations on the course and finish line food. Event will include swim, bike and run courses. All participants receive a cute swim cap, a medal and a shirt. Awards ceremony will follow the race after all participants have finished. Part of Ashland’s annual Bay Days Festival. Course Information:
Swim: Racers will be starting one child at a time every 5 seconds. Parents, please seed your child within their age group with the fastest going first. We will begin with ages 5-7, then ages 8 and 9, and then ages 10 and 11.
The 5- to 7-year-olds will do one lap out. Kids ages 8-9 and 10-11 will go out and back. Participants will start in waves. Wetsuits or life vests will be allowed. Great swim caps are mandatory and provided in the race packets!

Run: Racers will run the perimeter of the old stockade grassy area east of the parking lot.
5- to 7-year-olds will run one lap.
8- and 9-year-olds will run two laps.
10- and 11-year-olds will run three laps.
Please help your child remember how many laps they have done.
Bike: The 5- to 7-year-olds will follow the waterfront trail west on the abandoned railroad bed to the waterfront trail, then turn around before the bridge and come back the same way.
The 8- to 11-year-old racers will follow the same route, but will continue straight to the 1-mile marker and turn around at the corner of Willis Avenue and Water Street.
