On the Run 5K is an annual race through the grounds of the oldest prison in Kansas. It is a chip-timed certified race that benefits the Lansing Historical Society.
The race start and finish
lines are in front of the
Lansing Historical Museum
located at 115 E. Kansas
Avenue.
The course will take
runners through the
Lansing Correctional
Facility (the oldest prison in Kansas) grounds away
from highway traffic.
Families and walkers are
welcome to participate in
this chip timed race.
DOGS ARE WELCOME, but must be kept under
control on a leash in
order to participate.
