2010 Waterloo Fit City Triathlon:
Waterloo Fit City Triathlon is a sprint distance triathlon for kids and adults alike.
Adult race consists of a 500 yd swim, 14.3mile bike and a 3.1 mile run.
Sponsored by the Waterloo Swim Team and Karl Juninger Memorial Library participants can look forward to a great race course, goodie bags, t-shirts, food/drink, door prizes, chip timing, music and more!
Course Information:
Triathlon Race Course:
Swim:Waterloo High School Pool - 25 yd.
Bike and Run: Will traverse through City of Waterloo and scenic country settings and ending with one lap around high school track.
Groups: 6&under: (25 yd swim, 1 mile bike, 12 mile run)
7-8: (50 yd swim, 1 mile bike, 12 mile run)
9-10: (100 yd swim, 4 mile bike, 1 mile run)
11-12: (100 yd swim, 4 mile bike, 1 mile run)
13-14:(200 yd swim, 4 mile bike, 1 mile run)
15-19: (this age group can choose to do either the short course above or the long course below)
20-24: (all age groups from here and older: 500 yd swim, 14.3 mile bike, 3 mile run)
25-29,30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ Relays: long course only.
