This is a fun, indoor and outdoor fitness race perfect for any level. Experienced racers can test their personal bests and newcomers can experience a low pressure triathlon in a controlled setting. A three event race consisting of a 15 minute indoor pool swim, 15 minute stationary bike ride, and a 2 mile walk/run outside. Each event will be run in waves, with the first wave beginning at 10:00am. Each wave will be afforded a 5 minute transition between events.
Award categories are overall male and female, first female in each age group, first male in each age group and top 3-personal team. No duplication of performance awarded.
Short-sleeve t-shirts will be given to all participants. Childcare is available is you early register. Show facilities and baggage storage is available in the YMCA locker rooms. Please bring a lock to secure your belongings as the YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

The Westside Family YMCA is located in the town of Gates, which is a western suburb of Rochester, NY.
Other Info:
In addition to the Adult Triathlon, there will be a Kid's Triathlon taking place the same day. Separate registration is required. This event is for ages 6-12 of consists of three levels.
