If you are preparing for an early June triathlon such as the Captex Tri, Skeese Greets Women's Tri or Lake Pflugerville Tri, come get the knowledge and practical experience you need to be successful in open water! This one hour open water swim clinic, coached by USAT-certified coach and swim specialist Casey Arendt of Go the Distance Coaching, will include acclimating to and being comfortable swimming near others in open water, practicing swim starts and exits, swimming around a buoy and sighting in a small group setting. You will also receive an information packet by email following the event to help you remember what you learned.
Wetsuits are recommended due to cold water conditions. A certified lifeguard will be present during the clinic.
