The Double Road Race was created by running visionary and Runner's World magazine founder Bob Anderson. This new sport and new challenge with its strategic endurance twist is unique to the running world. It's a 10K followed by a 5K with a break in between featuring the Recovery Zone. It's the only running event with a halftime! During the half time get a massage, hop on a bike, use rollers, re-hydrate or simply relax in preparing for the second leg of the race! With multiple events there will something for every athlete, whether you want to run, walk, or simply socialize, there's something for everyone!
Course Information:
Located at one of the most scenic routes in all of the United States, Lover's point is one of the most beautiful locations for a run. Pacific Grove is located along the Monterey Coast and will surely be a race to remember!
Directions:
From San Francisco/San Jose:
*Take 101 S to 156 W in Prunedale
*Follow CA-1 S to Del Monte Ave in Monterey. Take the Del Monte Ave exit from CA-1 S
*Merge onto Del Monte Ave
*Continue onto Lighthouse Ave
*Continue onto Central Ave
*Turn right onto 14th St
*Turn Left onto Ocean View Blvd
