The Heroes Mud Run proudly supports our local Heroes. A portion of the proceeds of the Heroes Mud Run will benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, in conjunction with local firefighters and the Heart of a Marine Foundation, proudly serving all branches and members of the United States Armed Forces. Both organizations are 501( c ) charities. Come show your support by participating, volunteering or cheering your Hero on.
Packet Pickup:
Friday, May 23rd from 3pm 7pm at the Regole Field House at Marmion Academy (1000 Butterfield Rd, Aurora) or Saturday morning, May 24th starting at 7:00am at the Registration Tent. If you are picking up your packet on Saturday, be sure to pick it up at least 15 minutes before your scheduled run time. You will need your photo ID. Your packet will include your race bib, Heroes Mud Run t-shirt, wristband and sponsor information.
What to Bring:
Here are a few tips and ideas on what to bring with you on race day!
Photo ID If you did not pick up your packet on Friday, you will need your valid photo ID for Packet Pickup at the Event. No photo ID, no packet! Sorry.
Change of Clothes and a Towel There will be changing tents and rinse-off stations onsite for all participants.
Lawn Chair (s) Hang out and enjoy post-race food, music, and watch everyone get dirty in support of our Heroes!
Cash or Credit Card (VISA or MasterCard) Onsite there will be official Heroes Mud Run merchandise for sale as well as food vendors (while supplies last). You wont want to miss out!
Arrival & Parking:
Please arrive a minimum of 1 hour before your scheduled race start time to allow time for parking, picking up your packet (if not already done so on Friday), and dropping off your bag at the Bag Check. Parking is $5 per vehicle, cash only. Please bring exact change to expedite the parking process.
Bag Check:
As a benefit to all racers, the Heroes Mud Run will offer a bag check for all participants. Each racer must have their bib number on to check and claim their bag. Bag check is limited to one bag per participant. While the bag check area is secure and we make every effort to protect your belongings, the Heroes Mud Run is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please leave valuables at home.
