2014 Twin Lakes Triathlon:

The 2nd annual Twin Lakes Triathlon and Duathlon presented by Endurance +.
This event is located uin Western Kentucky at the beautiful and scenic Kentucky and Barkley Lakes.
The event is a modified sprint distance and features either solo and team relay events.
Start and Finish location is the same, with close, convenient parking. Categories are in 5 year increments, male and female, and awards to top 3 in each age group.
Awards are a unique glass cup with the event logo.
The swim is in the Kentucky Lake, bike is over two-lane highways, and run over the Kentucky Dam.

Course Information:

This is a beautiful course for participants to enjoy.

You begin by swimming in the Kentucky Lake, near the Kentucky Dam.

You transition near the beach area of the Kentucky Dam Village State Park.

You will ride across the river, through Livingston County, which is largely rural farm land.

You will finish the run near Kentucky Lake, next to a gorgous lighthouse.

You will run into the Land Between the Lakes National Park, running over the canal between the two lakes.
