The Bear Lake Brawl Triathlon is a two day triathlon race set in Utah and Idaho. Historically the Bear Lake race has always run with for 8 years straight with a complete course of Swim, Bike and Run each year.
Course Information:
Friday Sept 12, 2014 Half Iron Distance
- Swim 1.2 Miles in the bluest water in Utah and Idaho.
- Bike 52.2 Miles clockwise around Bear Lake with views of the Lake on your right should. The bike course is flat at time yet there are some rolling hills on the East side of the ride. 100% paved
- Run 13.1 Miles in an out and back course South of the lake in farmlands 90% paved.
Saturday Sept 13, 2014 Olympic Distance
- Swim 1500 meters in the bluest water in Utah and Idaho in a triangle format two laps.
- Bike 24.9 Miles go out 12.45 Miles and back the same distance on the East side of Bear Lake with views of the Lake on your West Side. The bike course is flat at time yet there are some rolling hills on the East side of the ride. 100% paved
- Run 6.2 Miles go out 1.55 Miles in an out and back course twice in Bear Lake State Park. 70% paved.

Directions:
Go to Bear Lake State Park on the Utah Side Rendezvous Beach. This is accessible via Logan by means of Logan Canyon or from Evanston or from St. Charles Idaho. Both Utah routes take about the same distance to drive from Salt Lake however Logan is much more scenic and the Evanston Route is fairly flat and less work on your car.
