2014 Head for the Hills Patoka Lake Triathlon
Head for the hills and race for a cause. All proceeds from this event will go to support Patoka's non-releaseable raptors; a red-tailed hawk, eastern screech owl and bald eagle.

Course Information:
Start with a 500 yard open water swim at the beach.
Next bike 12.8 miles on our 'hillacious' open road course through the Patoka Reservoir property. Start this leg of the course by climbing the infamous "beach hill" and race along our winding course along beautiful countryside, through the woods and back down beach hill.
Finish with a 3.1 mile (5k) run along our hilly bike trail that will lead runners through the woods, along lakeshores and back down beach hill to finish.
Directions:
Our address is 3084 N. Dillard Rd. Birdseye,IN 47513. The property is physically located in Wickliffe, IN. If you follow GPS and MapQuest directions it will lead you to the property gate. From the gatehouse the beach will be at the second road on the left.
Other Info:
There is a gate fee of $5/vehicle in state and $7/vehicle out of state for those wishing to attend. This fee is waived for all athletes participating in the race.
Food will be provided for spectators at a concession stand. Food will be provided to athletes as they finish the race.
Solar heated showers are available onsite in the beach house.
Campgrounds are located in the property for your convenience. There are many local cabins nearby and hotels in French Lick and Jasper to choose from for overnight guests.
Bring the entire family and enjoy our 6 mile paved bike trail, fitness trail, hiking trails, archery range, 8,880 acres of water for boating, water skiing and much more!
