Join us for third annual Chesapeake Bay Tour de Cure on May 17, 2014 where 750 riders of all levels join forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes and raise critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy in support of the American Diabetes Association.

Tour de Cure is a family cycling event with bike routes (10, 31, 62 and 100 mile) designed for everyone to participate. All routes have fully supported rest stops throughout and supply and gear vehicles circulate to ensure your comfort and safety.You can create a team or ride as an individual. There is no better way to take in the gorgeous landscape of the Eastern Shore!

Enjoy a festive atmosphere including breakfast, live music, lunch, libations, massages, team photos, product sampling, family activities and more!

Course Information:

100 Mile Century: There is no better way to experience the incredible scenery of Talbot County than our Mile Century. You'll cycle through miles of farmland and enjoy full stocked rest stops right on the water. Take a tour of downtown Easton, Oxford and Trappe from your very own bike! Century riders will also have the opportunity to participate in our Speed Zone! Prizes will be awarded to our fastest cyclists!

63 Metric Century: You asked and we listened! New this year is the metric century ride! Our metric century offers all the support and beauty of our 100 mile ride. Metric century riders will also have the opportunity to participate in the Speed Zone!

31 Half Metric: Take in the sights of downtown Easton and the surrounding farmland. You'll enjoy both the wooded roads and open fields as you wind along toward the Miles River, plus take a short spin on the Oxford Bellevue Ferry. Our half metric is a great next step for the intermediate rider.

10 Mile Fun Ride: Ride out to the Cottingham Farm, a picturesque organic farm located on the bank of Goldsborough Creek, on our 10 Mile Fun Ride. You'll be greeted with delicious and healthy snacks and activities for the entire family! You'll event have the opportunity to tour the farm! Our 10 Mile ride is well-marked and well supported to create the perfect atmosphere for the beginner rider.

Other Info:

The registration fee is $15 dollars until march 31st then it will increase to $25. Each rider must fund raise a minimum of $200 dollars

Previous Results:

In 2012, we had over 500 riders help to raise $275,000 for the American Diabetes Association that goes towards much needed research, advocacy and educational programs here in Maryland. Together, we will find a cure, one mile at a time.
