The 7th Annual Independence Ride is a BP MS 150 Recommended Ride honoring our nations severely injured heroes from Iraq and Afghanistan. There will be four routes to chose from with distances of 12, 23, 44 and 65 miles.
Registration on the day of the ride begins at 6:30am. Opening ceremonies begin at 8:00am. Come early as the veterans look forward to the warm reception they always receive from the citizens of Wallis, the Schlumberger Cycling Club and all the cyclists who come and join them for this special ride. All proceeds remaining after event expenditures will be applied towards the Independence Fund's mission of providing the tools, therapies and guidance that the veterans are otherwise not receiving.
After your ride, please join us for a BBQ Chicken lunch held inside the Hall. We will also have great Silent Auction items to bid on.
