The Come Out & Play Turn Back Time Duathlon is your last chance to participate in a multi-sport event before having to turn back time as Daylight Savings Time comes to an end. This 2 Mile run, 14.5 Mile bike, 2 Mile run slightly hilly event will test your endurance and give you the chance to go all out since you get an extra hour of sleep that night. So come kick off your last day of long daylight by helping the children of Christs Haven! Itll do your body and spirit good!
The event will start and finish in Bear Creek Park in Keller, TX, with the start/finish line and transition area located in a tree-filled area in the back of the park. The run course is a relatively flat, windy, out-and-back course that utilizes the Bear Creek Hike & Bike Trail. The Bike course takes to the streets of Keller and is a slightly hilly route good for all levels of competitors.
If you arent an early morning person or dont like physical activity or your schedule doesnt allow you to participate, you can still help out Christs Haven with the Sleep In for Christs Haven option. By choosing to Sleep In for Christs Haven, you get to support these wonderful children with a $20 donation and receive the participant t-shirt just as if you pounded and pedaled your way through the event!
