2013 Captiva Island Triathlon:

  • Come join us in the most beautiful, scenic race in all Southwest Florida! Captiva South Seas Triathlon
  • September 14th & 15th, 2013
  • Saturday: Kids Triathlon, Fitness Fair, and Kids Activities
  • Sunday: Sprint Triathlon
  • Finishers receive medals and Tech Ts for all participants.

    • Course Information:



  • 1/4 mile swim off the gulf beaches of South Seas Resort.
  • 10 mile bike on closed roads along Captiva Drive/Gulf of Mexico.
  • 3.5 mile run along the golf course of South Seas Resort.

    • Directions:


  • Captivia Island is in south west florida, off th coast of Ft Myers/Cape Coral
  • South Seas Resort is at the very north tip of Captiva Island.
  • You have to pay toll & drive the entire length of Sanibel Island to get to Captiva Island.
  • Plan to leave early.
  • Low speed limits for much of Islands.
  • Beautiful place for a triathlon - worth the drive.
