A 5K and 10K run that commemorates the moon landing of Apollo 14, the pilot, Stuart Roosa who worked as a smokejumper at the Siskiyou Smokejumper Base, and the tree seeds that he carried with him to the moon and back, one of which was eventually planted at the Smokejumper Base.
Course Information:
A mix of trail and road through unique and scenic landscapes of the Illinois Valley.
