Travel the land of Chief Quanah Parker as you ride over the open plains into the depths of Blanco Canyon. Take your time and enjoy the views or push yourself along the punishing landscape to the finish line in Crosbyton. The ride will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013, at 8:00 a.m. There will be a choice of three routes: a 100 kilometer, 26 mile, or 10 mile tour.
Numbers must be worn so that they are visible from the front to receive SAG Wagon support and service at rest stops.
Each entry will receive a meal ticket for a breakfast beginning at 6:30 a.m. in the Prairie Ladies Multicultural Center at 126 Berkshire Street and a meal ticket for lunch served from 12:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. in the Crosby County Pioneer Memorial Museum. Extra meal tickets for lunch can be purchased for $5.00.
The proceeds from the ride will be donated to breast cancer research.
Ride will be held rain or shine. No refunds.
Pre-registration will be accepted through September 23. Pre-registrants are eligible for a drawing for a Bag of Cash holding $500.00. Late registration is accepted the day of the race from 7:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m. at the south parking lot of the Crosby County Pioneer Memorial Museum on 101 West Main Street/US-82. Ride packets may be picked up on Saturday morning before the ride. Packets include a water bottle, ride number, route map, collector t-shirt, and meal tickets.
