Swim
is in beautiful Lake Anna, 12 laps of a out and back course, can stand up at
both ends in waist deep water, your support crew wade out to bring your
nutrition to you every so many laps (your choosing). 12 laps for the
Double and 18 for the Triple.
Bike is along a 2.5 mile State Park Road from the athlete village area to the
front of the park and return; 45 laps for the Double and 67.5 for the Triple.
Run is along a State Park Road as well, the first 1/2 mile is the same as the
bike course (so the first runners will be sharing with the bikers for a bit),
then you turn right for another 1/2 mile to the turnaround.
Centrally
and strategically located on the East Coast,
From 95 North or
South:
- Exit 118 Thornburg
- Travel west on 606 for 5 miles
- Route 606 turns into Route 208W
- Travel on 208 for 11 miles (you will take a sharp left turn at Post Oak while
traveling on 208)
- Turn right onto Route 601. Travel 3 miles
- Lake Anna
State Park is on the left
-Proceed all the way down the park road until you reach the Lake
