The Philip Barbour Volleyball team is helping to kick off the Barbour County Fair week with a "Diggin' the Barbour County Fair 5K Run/Walk."
Course Information:
This is a 5K course that starts inside the Barbour County Fairgrounds, wraps around it, goes through the woods, and back. Whether you are in to road racing or off-road, this course has a little bit of everything.
Directions:
Take I-79 to Exit 115. From the South, take a right at the bottom of the ramp; from the North take a left onto WV 20-toward Philippi (4 miles)
Bear right onto Rt. 57 (11.9 miles)
Turn left onto US 119 (2.2 miles)
Turn right onto the Philippi bypass, go to the end and take a right onto Rt. 250 OR take a right through the historic covered bridge and bear right at the light onto Rt. 250.
Travel this road for approximately 9 miles and the Barbour County Fairgrounds will be at the top of a hill on the right, after traveling up a truck lane.
