This unique course will start all riders in the south part of Reno, NV. Cyclists will be escorted up and over Mt Rose Highway home to one of the highest summits in the area. This is where the Gran Fondo cyclists will face the largest climb of the day with over 4,000ft in elevation gain! The amazing scenery of North Lake Tahoe is nothing less than breathtaking as you head south along the east side of the lake on Highway 28. Lunch will be served at the area's most scenic and mystic parks, Zephyr Cove resort located in South Lake Tahoe.

Riders will face another challenging climb to Spooner Summit then a screaming 10 mile downhill into Carson City with speeds reaching 50 mph+! The remaining ride will tour riders through our state capital Carson City and Washoe Valley. Old 395 will guide riders back to south Reno capping off an extraordinary tour of Northern Nevada.
