2013 Ankeny Youth Triathlon:
Swim, bike and run in the Seventh Annual Ankeny Youth Triathlon.
This event is extremely popular and continues to grow each year; over 250 youth participated in 2012.
Kids of all levels are encouraged to compete.
Awards will be handed out, but everybody that competes is a winner.
A participation meeting will be held on Thursday, July 25th at 7:00 p.m. at the shelter east of the Aquatic Center and attendance is highly recommended.
Course Information:
Swim laps in the Prairie Ridge Aquatic Center, bike around the Sports Complex and run through the finish line at the Prairie Ridge Middle School Track.
A bike helmet is required for the bike portion of the event.
7-10 Years Swim: 100 yards Bike: 2 miles Run: .5 miles
11-14 years Swim: 200 yards Bike: 4 miles Run: 1 mile
