Triathlon : Paddle 4 Mile, Mountain Bike 12 Miles, Trail Run 6.5 Miles |
SWIM: The 1000 meter swim starts at the East end of the beach and goes in a counterclockwise loop. Swimmers will complete two loops of the swim course. The Watercraft division (open to all single person paddled watercraft) will start at the East end of the beach and will paddle into a cove and back to cover 4 miles.
BIKE: The 12 mile mountain bike portion of the race will consist of a little park road to get to and from the mountain bike trails, and then the East Fork Mountain Bike trails will be used for the remainder of the bike leg. The course will start out of transition at the beach, go up the hill and turn right onto park road 2. Enter the trails at the Tech Trail, do the Advanced loop and the beginner loop, and then return to the parking lot via the Tech Trail.

RUN: The 6.5 mile trail run will start at the beach and utilize portions of the backpack trail and perimeter loop trail. The run course is new for 2013!! There will be 2 waterstops on the run.
Directions to East Fork State Park
From Columbus -- Travel I-71 South approx. 80 miles to I275 South. Take I-275 another 15 miles to the Route 125 exit. Go East on Route 125 for approx. 10 miles to the East Fork State Park main entrance (Do not follow signs to the Campground). Turn Left on S. Bantam Road, turn left into the park and turn left again onto Park Road 2. Follow Park Road 2 to the beach parking lot.
From Cincinnati -- Take I275 to the Route 125 exit. Go East on Route 125 for approx. 10 miles to the East Fork State Park main entrance (Do not follow signs to the Campground). Turn Left on S. Bantam Road, turn left into the park and turn left again onto Park Road 2. Follow Park Road 2 to the beach parking lot.
