Calling all aspiring triathletes, ages 8 to 12! You can swim, bike and run your way to the finish at the first annual Youth Triathlon on Saturday June 15, at the Manassas Park Community Center. Athletes will be divided into two age groups: Juniors, ages 8-9, and Seniors, ages 10-12 (age as of race day). Juniors will swim 50 meters in the pool, bike 1.5 miles and run 0.5 miles. Senior entrants will swim 100 meters, bike three miles and run one mile. Each child will receive an official triathlon medal and t-shirt. All racers are required to wear appropriate swim wear in the pool and shoes while biking and running. Each child should bring a bicycle and a helmet to the event. Parents, bring your cameras for award-winning photo opportunities!

Course Information:

Participants will swim in the short course Olympic sized pool in the Manassas Park Community Center and then have the opportunity to bike and run around the campus of the beautiful Costello Park.

Directions:

Directions: I-66 West towards Front Royal. Take Exit 28 S/Centreville.
Merge onto Route 620/Sully Rd/VA-28 South. Drive 4 miles and take a
right on Yorkshire Lane. Take 1st left onto Old Centreville Road to 2nd
right onto Park Place. Follow signage to Community Center.

All particpants will recieve a t-shirt and a certificate of completion.
