This event is part of the 2nd Annual TRIFEST for MS event, a 4 day triathlon festival with the benefit of raising $40K for our research doctors. The kids race ages 5-8 is the only race Friday night so all eyes can be on these little guys sprinting for the finish. The course is located in the pool parking lot and running/walking trails around the pool and baseball fields. The course is not operated on any public traffic ways. The swim is a 50 yard swim in 25 yard length pool. The bike is a mile on flat terrain and the run is a half mile on part of the bike course. We are expecting 75-100 kids in this event and the action will be quick and action pack. Plan to come out and watch or bring your little guy or girl to the event to get them hooked on endurance sports. Registration is listed at www.researchms.org. Registration will be open until Aug. 28. There are discounts for signing up prior to July 2. Each registration will receive dry wick race shirt, goody bag and awards for top three places in each age group for boys and girls. Ages groups are 5-6 and 7-8 year olds. During the races our event expo will be open for food, silent auction, sponsor booths and more.
