2 Bridges Swim Under the Walkway is an early season 2.5K/5K on a fast, fun, and scenic course in the Hudson River, presented by CIBBOWS and the organizers of 8 Bridges.
Course Information:
The 2.5K swim starts at the public dock and follows a rectangular course that circles the eastern stanchions of the Mid-Hudson and Walkway Over the Hudson Bridges, 900 meters apart. The 5K is two loops of the 2.5K course.
Directions:
Travel via Metro-North right to the event site in Poughkeepsie (1hr 20
mins from Grand Central Station). Those who are driving can park at the
Metro-North station for free.
