The Tri Tech Olympic and Sprint Distance Triathlon and Duathlon is designed for the avid health and fitness enthusiast and is race #2 of the UltraFit MidEast Region MultiSport Series. Hosted by Alum Creek State Park, we think you will enjoy testing your skills and your "spirit" on Sunday, June 24th. The event will consist of the "Olympic" and "Sprint" distance triathlon.
Course Information:
SWIM :Triathletes will compete along the shore of Alum Creek State Park. Olympic Distance competitors will swim 1500 meters (map) and Sprint Distance competitors will swim 750 meters (map).

OLYMPIC DISTANCE DUATHLETES will begin the race with a 5K run (map) and SPRINT DISTANCE DUATHLETES will run 2 miles (map).?

?BIKE: The bike course consists of a 12.4 mile ride around Alum Creek. Olympic Distance competitors will race a DOUBLE loop and the Sprint Distance competitors will race a single loop.?

?RUN: The run course includes a scenic view high atop Alm Creek State Park. Olympic Distance competitors run 10K and Sprint Distance competitors run 5K.?

Directions:
DIRECTIONS TO RACE SITE: NOTE-THE ACCESS ROAD FROM ROUTR 23 TO ALUM CREEK STATE PARK IS CLOSED. PLEASE USE THESE DIRECTIONS ON RACE DAY. From Columbus take I-71 north past the 270 outer belt (the next exit is Polaris). Take the Polaris exit and turn RIGHT. Go about 1/2 mile and turn left at Worthingtn Road. Take Worthington Road about 1 mile at turn left on Africa Road.Go a couple miles and turn left at the (Lewis Center and Walnut Road) intersection. Go about one mile on Lewis Center. Alum Creek State Park is located about two miles on the right side of the road.?
