Recreation Services and the Office of Residence Life will host the 2nd Annual Blow-Off Biathlon on May, 4^th 2013. Last year we had a great turnout and we raised money for the Autism Center here at Southeast Missouri State University. This year the biathlon consists of a 4-k run and a 16-k bike ride. There

All dollars raised will be divided equally between the Autism Center, and the charity of choice of which ever Southeast Missouri State University student organization has the most participants register up under their name.

Participants can register to compete in the entire event, in teams, or just participate in the run portion of the biathlon.  

Both courses this year are designed for beginners, so dont let the run or bike ride discourage you from participating. Registration forms are available at the North Recreation Center and through the Rec Services website at <http://www4.semo.edu/recservices/pdf/biathlonform.pdf>. For students, early registration is $20 and race-day is $25. For non-students early registration is $25 and race-day is $30. If you sign up before April 20^th, you are guaranteed a t-shirt.

Last year we had a lot of community support for this event, and we are hoping to have another large turnout especially from students.
