2013 Hearts4Charity 5K Fun Run & Kids 1 Mile:
Come and join a Mahtomedi student organization, Hearts4Charity, in a 5K Run/Walk and Kids 1 Mile Run on Saturday, May 4 at 9 AM.
The race starts at the Mahtomedi high school track and goes through scenic downtown Mahtomedi.
All participants will be entered in a free raffle and given a t-shirt along with prizes for the first few finishers!
It's a great event for families and runners of all ages and abilities!
All proceeds go towards the Hearts4Charity organization.
Course Information:
The race begins at the Mahtomedi High Schol track.
It then goes through downtown Mahtomedi, a few residential areas and back up to the track.
Not a difficult course route.
Directions:
From 694 either East or West
Take 36 East to Hilton Tr which will be your first stoplight,
Take a left onto Hilton Tr from 36 East and follow Hilton until it intersects with Stillwater Rd.
Go straight through the stoplight towards St. Andrews Church,
Stay to the right on that road,
DO NOT TURN INTO ST. ANDREWS PARKING LOT ON THE LEFT OR THE MHS PARKING LOT ON THE RIGHT,
Follow this road as it winds up the hill, you will reach the parking lot to park in and the track should be straight ahead.
Other Info:
We have a free raffle for all participants.
Each person that signs up will have their name placed in a raffle for different prizes such as gift certificates from Donatellis, Coffee Cottage, Olive Joe's and the Pine Tree Apple Orchard.
We also have prizes for a few of the first finishers of the 5K, right now we have a few free 30 day gym passes to LA Fitness valued at $75 and we have more exciting prizes to come!
The first few Kids 1 Mile finishers will also receive prizes.
