The Tri Kids Tri of Ann Arbor is a triathlon designed for all kids of all abilities. It is the perfect event for a youngster to break into the sport. The swim is in the calm and peaceful Portage Lake, with a shallow water start parallel to the beach. The bike and run are on park paths and country roads with minimal and controlled traffic.
The mission of Epic Tri Kids Tri is to motivate and inspire kids to lead an active and healthful lifestyle through the sport of triathlon. Fun, safety, and spirit will be the priority when kids age 7-14 complete and compete in age appropriate distances.
