2013 Pocomoke City Triathlon, Open Water Swim & Kids Tri:
The Lower Shore Y will be hosting the Fall Into Tri Festival from Saturday, 9/7-Sunday, 9/8. The main event will be the 11th Annual Pocomoke Triathlon to be held on Sunday, 9/8 at 9am. Other events will include a Kids' Tri for athletes 7-14 years old, a 1-mile open water swim, fitness expo & open house.
Plan on transitioning from summer and back to school preparations into the fall triathlon season with us. The Pocomoke City Triathlon (traditionally held in June) is a great race for beginners to get their feet wet with a calm, pond swim. Seasoned triathletes will enjoy the fast-flat course to fine-tune their skills. Not sure about giving it a full tri? Teams are welcome! This is a great family-friendly event to fall into tris!
