2013 Greenwich Cup Triathlon:

  • The 29th annual Betteridge Greenwich Cup Triathlon is a sprint distance event.
  • The race is held at beautiful Greenwich Point on Long Island Sound in Old, Greenwich CT.
  • The distances are a 12 mile swim, a 15 mile bike, and a 3 mile run on road/trail.
  • At an average of over 600 participants yearly.

    • Course Information:


  • This race has become a great beginners triathlon and a unique training tool for more competitive triathletes.
  • Start with a half mile triangular swim course.
  • Followed by a bike ride through Old Greenwich, Riverside, and Cos Cob on an open road course.
  • Finish with a flat 3 mile run course over road and trail and finish up on the sand.
