4th Annual Bear Cupboard Run--a family race for all ages!
Join us on the scenic Bearskin Trail through forests with views of 3 lakes in
beautiful Minocqua, WI. There will be a 1/2 Marathon and a 5K run
professionally chip timed by TandH Timing.
The half marathon will be run along 13.1 miles of one of the most scenic
sections of the Bearskin Trail. Shuttle
will be available at Torpy Park at 6:30am to take racers to the starting point.
The 5K Run/Walk will take place at 8am on the Bearskin Trail departing directly
from Torpy. Water stations will be located every 2 miles with bathrooms located
at the entrance to the trail, at Blue Lake( approx. the halfway point) and at
Torpy Park. A 1K Cubby Run will be held for boys and girls (10 and under), who
will receive a Cubby Pack and ribbon.There will be a number of activities at
Torpy Park on race day morning: music to jump-start the mornings activities,
outstanding complimentary food and refreshments at the Bear Stop Inn,
specialty thirst quenching drinks and the popular Bear Paw Painters
(returning to offer hand and face painting for kids of all ages).
