Heres how this one-hour race against the clock breaks down:
10-minute swim in the lap pool 20-minute bike ride in the gym 15-minute run on the indoor track
Performance is measured by distance covered in each of the three legs. The more distance you cover, the higher your score. Transition times are fixed at 10 minutes between the swim and bike and 5 minutes between bike and run. This is to ensure safe and courteous movement through the club.
All participants will receive swim caps for use during the race, plus a Splash Mash Dash t-shirt*. To participate, you must be 12 years of age or older. *Registration required by Friday, March 6th to receive a t-shirt.
Ten athletes start every 15 minutes beginning at 8:00am. Sign up for a preferred start time and provide names of friends/family with whom you would like to race. It's YOUR race!
How your time is spent:

Volunteers record your distance in each leg, then assign a score to that distance. All three scores are totaled then ranked. Age categories: Youth (12-17yrs); Open (18-39 yrs); Master (40+), Collegiate
Open to everyone ages 12 and older.
Swim will occur in heated pool with volunteers counting laps. T1 will allow 10 min for the participant to dry off and change clothes before riding the club spin bike for 20 min. Following the bike there will be a 5 min transition before the 15 min run on our indoor track (9 laps=1mile).

Driving Directions: From Veterans Parkway, travel west on Oakland Avenue. Turn left (South) on Four Seasons Road. Proceed to the main entrance on the left. Parking is also available in an additional parking lot that is north of our facility (clearly labeled for Four Seasons use).
