2009-2010 Chilly Cheeks Duathlon Series:
The second event in the 2009-2010 Chilly Cheeks Winter Duathlon Series, this low key series offers three run-bike events at Denvers Cherry Creek State Park during the winter months.
Each event features a different format, covering approximately 4 miles of running and 10 miles of biking.
The January event starts with a 1.5 mile run, followed by a 3.6 mile paved bike, then a 2.5 mile run, and concludes with a 3.6 mile paved bike ride.
Road and Fat Tire divisions are offered.
New this year, weve added a 4 mile run. This scenic run covers a mix of road, paved bike path and well maintained dirt trails.

Series Point Standings
Points will be awarded in two divisions: open and fat tire with 3 age categories for men and women in each division: 39& Under, 40-49 and 50+.
Your series age will be based on your age on January 1, 2009. You cannot switch series categories once the series begins.
- This is a no frills event we dont do awards or tshirts but will offer warm drinks and food post-race.
- Raffle prizes as you cross the finish line.
