The 2013 Hermosa Day at the Beach Triathlon welcomes hundreds of local triathletes to the beautiful shores of Hermosa Beach! We are looking forward to seeing you on October 6, 2013 for another terrific day at the beach!
Course Information:
The Hermosa Day at the Beach Triathlon features a fun and safe, beginner-oriented course.
The race starts with a cool, refreshing ocean swim (wetsuits are recommended).
The swim is followed by a 10 mile bike course which begins by a small climb up Pier Ave. and then heads up Valley Dr. toward Manhattan Beach. The course is 3 smooth loops along Valley Dr. and Ardmore Ave. There will be lots of volunteers and it is always very well marked.
The run course is out-and-back with scenic ocean views on paved roads. If you are a beginner this race is an excellent way to start in the sport of triathlon!
