The MOST Amazing Race is a urban adventure race benefiting The Salvation Armys homeless shelter for families. The Race will take place on Saturday April 6, 2013.

Patterned after the CBS show The Amazing Race, the scavenger-hunt-like race will take place over 6 hours, leading teams on a large scale race around Fort Lauderdale. From the starting line, teams of two people will receive a clue leading them to a checkpoint somewhere in the city. Upon arriving at the various checkpoints throughout the day, teams will be required to complete a task in order to receive the next clue. Tasks will be physically or mentally challenging and may involve tedious activities, trivia contests or food challenges. Travel throughout the city is on foot, bus or trolley. Great prizes for the top three teams.

Course Information:

The course varies each year, but generally stays in eastern Ft. Lauderale. The entire course is approximately 10 miles long with stops to complete challenges.

The Salvation Army's MOST Amazing Race raises money for homeless families living in Salvation Army shelters in Broward County. Teams of two must raise a minimum of $200 in addition to registration fees to particpate. The top fund raising teams will earn perks that will make the race easier. The top fundraising team will win great prizes. Fund raising is done easily through e mail asks using our easy to navigate site.

The race is physically AND mentally challenging and lots of fun.
