2013 ET Batavia Triathlon & Duathlon:

  • The Batavia Sprint Distance Triathlon and Duathlon, a USAT sanctioned event, marks its 10th running in 2013.
  • Our 400 meter swim takes place in the Harold Hall Quarry Beach with a time trial start - 3 seconds between competitors.
  • The bike course is a 14.7 mile route with rolling hills and scenic prairie views.
  • The 4.1 mile run is flat, fast and shaded, winding along the Fox River Trail with wonderful vistas of the Fox River as you race. Some have told us it's one of the best tri/du run courses in the area.
  • We also have a fantastic post race party that includes free pizza, beer, music, a raffle and age group awards ceremony.



    • 2013 ET Batavia Splash and Dash Youth Aquathlon:

  • The ET Batavia Splash and Dash is a fun youth event that combines running and swimming.
  • The run will be on the Fox River trail and a few closed streets in downtown Batavia.
  • The swim will take place in the Harold Hall Quarry Beach.
  • The event will start after the adult tri & du athletes have completed the bike portion of their race and cleared out of the transition area. Approximately 8:30 A.M on Sunday June 9, 2013.
  • Our race is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. Ages 7-15.

  • The 400 meter open water swim takes place in a quarry with a time trial start - 3 seconds between competitors.
  • The bike ride is a 14.7 mile circuit with rolling hills and scenic prairie views.
  • The 4.1 mile run is shaded, along the Fox River Trail.

  • Check in & body marking will be at Quarry Beach Park - (intersection of Water and Union)
