In door triathlon with a pool swim of 10 mintues, T1, 20 bike in an upstairs bike room, with a 15 minute run on an in door track. This is non competitive race with no winners or age group winners and is a fundraiser for the health club to build a new additional building. There will be food after wards for all finishers and volunteers. This is an early triathlon to help beginners try out the combination of swim/ bike/ run and for veterans to see how training is going. It is limited to 60 people with numerous staggered starts with the pool swim having 6 lanes available.
Course Information:
This is a pool swim with 10 minutes in the pool, transition, in door bike with computer, and transition to track to run 15 mintues with volunteers counting laps both for the swim and the run. There will be volunteers to help new people with transitions.
Directions:
Five Points is off Rt. 24/ RT. 8 traveling north on RT. 24/RT. 8 will turn left between CVS and Walgreens onto N. Wilmor Rd. up a small hill to a large building on the left, Washington Five Points. Coming from the north, take Rt. 24, turn on Main ( left) around the square and merge onto 24/ rt.8 and take a right at CVS and Walgreens onto Wilmor Rd. up the hill to a large building on the left.
