According to the most recent developments, Chris Froome won\u2019t be able to become part of this season\u2019s Tour de France.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The news first became public after Amaury Sport Organization (ASO), said that Froome will be blocked from competing in this season\u2019s biggest Grand Tour.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It seems the doping scandal which first hit the news in December 2017 after Froome\u2019s urine indicated twice the allowed amount of salbutamol while at last year\u2019s Vuelta a Espana, won\u2019t allow him to claim his fourth Tour de France title in a row.<\/p>\n

Only a week before the biggest grand Tour starts, ASO has decided to use their right to block a\u00a0 rider from becoming part of any cycling event and whose participation could damage in any way the reputation of the said event, in this case, Tour de France\u2019s.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Despite the fact Froome is still under investigation by the UCI, he has been allowed to pariticpate in all cycling events, claiming Giro d\u2019Italia\u2019s big title only a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n

After ASO\u2019s\u00a0conclusion\u00a0to block Froome from taking part at Tour de France, Team Sky decided to appeal the decision.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, a hearing will take place between team Sky and the governing body to decide whether Chris Froome should become part of Saturday\u2019s event which is expected to end on July 21.<\/p>\n
