Steele Von Hoff took victory for the home nation in Saturday\u2019s men\u2019s road race at Commonwealth Games while Chloe Hosking scored gold in women\u2019s category.<\/p>\n

Silver went to Jon Mould from Wales who was riding with the big help of Team Sky\u2019s man, Luke Rowe. He\u00a0was able to become part of the finishing group (five riders) who showcased their sprint abilities by fighting to take the victory at yesterday\u2019s 168.3km road race course.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, women\u2019s race\u00a0(112.2km), just like the men\u2019s one, came down to a reduced bunch at the last kilometers of the route with Dani Rowe being oriented by her teammate Elinor Barker.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not just my medal; it\u2019s all of the girls. I feel like I\u2019ve been waiting a long time for a bit of success. I\u2019ve been working hard on the road for a few years now,\u201d Rowe said right after yesterday\u2019s race.<\/p>\n
