World Champion and Beobank-Corendon rider, Sanne Cant won a stoic edition of the Superprestige Ladies event in Diegem. This marks her first victory\u00a0of the season in the series events.<\/p>\n
Everyone witnessed a very tight competition leaving Canyon-SRAM\u2019s girl, Pauline Ferrand-Prevot taking second place finishing 21 seconds later while Crelan-Charles\u2019 girl, Maud Kaptheijns taking third at 35 seconds.<\/p>\n

During the second half of the race, we saw the leading trio riding together through the last laps. Even though Kaptheijns would occasionally get a gap on the world champion, she on the other hand wouldn\u2019t let the Dutchwoman pass her for too long quickly getting her skills together to surpass the fighting rider.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Cant was only able to make her final, winning move, during the course\u2019s solo sandpit, after a little less than 30 minutes of racing.<\/p>\n
Cycling.be-Alpha Motorhomes\u2019 rider, American Elle Anderson sprinted as she took the sixth place, a position she justified with the strong, fourth-place finish in Bredene the previous day.<\/p>\n
