(@TourofBritain) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TourofBritain\/status\/894610612386496513\">August 7, 2017<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nBut, the most weird and unusually thing the riders will have to do is ride through the center of Nottinghamshire market town which does\u00a0not allow any cyclist to ride on its streets.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Break the law<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In a normal day, Tour of Britain&#8217;s cyclists would break the law if they ever decide to ride through this town\u2019s streets.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mansfield District Council has enforced a ban on cycling since 2016 raising many conflicts and official voices who say these measures as unfair.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Right after the decision, the Cycling UK\u2019s Duncan Dollimore said: \u201cIf the Council was experiencing problems with a small number of inconsiderate people cycling, it would be far better to tackle that behavior, which would benefit everyone, rather than impose a blanket ban on all cycling in the area at all times.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Tour of Britain, also known as the UK&#8217;s version to the Tour de France, starts on September 3rd. It starts in\u00a0Edinburgh\u00a0and ends in Cardiff a week later.
