Chris Froome, 32, is set to extend his contract with Team Sky which will normally be finalized before the opening stage of the Tour on Saturday.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
During a media interview that Team Sky held, Froome admitted to sign a new contract with the team he trusts and loves until 2021.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The three-time winner admitted to have grown a thick skin over the years and that he totally understood from where many questions relating the ongoing UK anti-doping investigation into alleged wrongdoing by Team Sky, were coming from and didn\u2019t take nothing personal.<\/p>\n

He admitted to view all the questions and investigations made as an outcome of what has happened in the sport recently.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“I do sympathize with people who have had their doubts, because I’ve had my doubts as well about performances post the early 2000s. I can see where those questions are coming from.\u201d \u2013 added Froome during the interview.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Froome hopes time to be the right tool to show that his results and achievements will stand. Froome has been part of the Team Sky since their inception back in 2010 admitted to have never seen any evidence of wrongdoing within his squad. He is also backing up his thoughts and words by extending his contract with the squad until 2012.<\/p>\n
