Sprint Triathlon<\/a> will officially take place in Cape Coral Yacht Club on Saturday morning. The course will begin with Ross Lenehan, 2016 champion who will provide a quick testing course. It will work as a seminar for newbies that don\u2019t have enough experience and knowledge in the race\u2019s features.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
On the other hand, the champion, Lenehan, won\u2019t compete in the race since he is already preparing himself for the Half Ironman World championships that will take place in Chattanoga, Tennessee in November, this year.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Lenehan was able to win the previous year\u2019s race in only 50 minutes and 53 seconds. Bruce Lander was right behind him securing the second place. Eddie Keller, 36, who finished the course in only 1 hour, 1 minute and 32 seconds,\u00a0won the third place.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The female division\u2019s first place was finished for 1 hour, 6 minutes and 53 seconds by Kalee Bowen, 41, of Naples. Kathryn Reppinger was second.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
The Yacht Club manager, Barbara Dickinson, is also the race organizer. She admitted this year\u2019s entries will significantly exceed last year\u2019s total number of 120.<\/p>\n

– The time of the race: Saturday, May 13. Registration on 5:30 a.m., race will start at 7 a.m.<\/p>\n
