Sandman Duathlon 2017: A brand new race will take place on September along with Sandman Triathlon

Sandman triathlon 2017

Always Aim High events are the ones that have given the great news of a brand new Duathlon competition; Sandman Duathlon. The race is officially added to the popular Sandman Triathlon race that will take place in September this year.

The truth is, Sandman Duathlon which will start on September 16, this year, can offer all competitors a chance to skip the open water swim and on the meanwhile, to have a taste and prove their worth in a Sandman, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Other details…

The Sandman sprint Duathlon will feature the usual fast 25 km cycle route. The cycling part will be in the middle of two 2.5 km runs. The running route will take place in the Newborough sandy-trials forest to offer triathletes an unique and unforgettable experience.  Duathletes will finish the race alongside with the other triathlete competitors.

Despite the Sandman Triathlon usual sprint, and weekend-long race, this year’s competition will most probably also introduce a half-iron Legend distance! It might consist of a 1900 metre swim, 91 km ride and also, a 21 km run!

If interested to register yourself for the Sandman Duathlon you can visit the Always Aim High official website.
