Since coffee contains high amounts of caffeine, which is a strong stimulant; people prefer it during the morning hours to feel more awake and ready to work. Caffeine has the ability to trigger our brain to be more focused, alerted and less asleep.

That is why, drinking coffee during the second part of the day, might be an unhealthy thing to do. Drinking coffee after 2 pm has the ability to partly or completely destroy our sleeping pattern. Also, it has the ability to increase our anxiety level.
