build a six pack

Did you know that more than 55 percent of all adult Americans have certain abdominal obesity? If you fall into this category, don’t worry. You’re not alone. Good news is, there is hope for you to keep yourself out of this group but only if you’re willing to.

You have probably wondered while admiring your pal’s six packs, how can a person build such a perfect abdominal muscles. Especially while still keeping the fuel coming according to their normal, human needs?

Well, no six packs can ever be built if you only focus on your exercise routine. It doesn’t matter whether you’re being consistent and are practicing a training routine that is supposed to give you the wanted six packs very quickly. About 50 percent of the whole “six pack-building” process depends directly from the food you eat!

There are some foods you need to immediately consider cutting off from your diet. Especially since they might be the ones that are making your six pack-creation to last forever. They are mostly the types of foods you normally consume out of laziness. But you should forget that when building a six pack, discipline and consistency in your diet and exercises is all you need to have.

Eliminate refined grains

Refined grains are something everyone should skip and replace them with unrefined ones. White rice, white pasta, white bread, all belong in the “refined grains” group. Try to replace them with their similar, more natural products such as brown rice, whole wheat, quinoa etc. Many studies have indicated the benefits someone can get by replacing the products that contain refined grains with the ones that don’t. Despite the many benefits you can get, this replacement will also help you achieve your dream six pack way easier and quicker.

Trans fats

Trans fats are one of the three major types of fats: saturated, unsaturated and trans. It is considered to be the unhealthiest of them all. This type of fat is commonly found in fried foods, especially fast foods, baked pastries etc. Trans fat increases your LDL (“bad” cholesterol) levels. They do not only put you in a big risk for many heart and obesity-related problems, they do also make your fitness goals difficult to achieve.

Skip Processed cheese

If you’re aiming to have a six pack before the summer arrives, then, processed cheese is one of the first products you must eliminate. It is a well-known fact that cheese is one of the biggest six pack enemies. You should be extremely careful when consuming it. If eliminating cheese completely from your diet seems a drastic measure to you, then, at least, try to replace your normal processed cheese with organic cheese.

All kinds of potato products

Many studies have shown how the potato really affects a person’s weight. People that constantly include at least three times a week potato products into their diet, for example potato chips, gain an average of 4 pounds in a 10-year period. Also, their fitness goals are achieved for a 20 percent additional time.
