FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Colorado Springs, CO – In a festive USA Triathlon Hall of Fame ceremony and dinner presented by Rudy Project, a dominant gear designer and manufacturer for triathletes, USAT welcomed their eighth induction class into their prestigious Hall of Fame on Saturday, January 16th at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs. Rudy Project athlete, coach, and No. 1 world-ranked triathlete when she retired from professional racing, Siri Lindley, was one of the four highly accomplished individuals within the Class of 2015.

“Siri Lindley is one of the most exceptional athletes I’ve worked with in all my years at Rudy Project,” said Paul Craig, President and Co-Founder of Rudy Project North America. “Not only does she have an outstanding athletic resume, but her passion and enthusiasm for the sport made her an ideal candidate for USA Triathlon’s Hall of Fame. We are proud to have Siri as a Rudy Project ambassador and coach in the multisport community and eternally cherish our relationship.”

In 1998, Siri skyrocketed into the triathlon scene when she raced to a USA Triathlon Elite National Championship title. Her career now includes 12 ITU World Cup Victories and the 2001 ITU World Championship title. She also claimed USA Triathlon’s Triathlete of the Year award in 2001.

“Rudy Project has been my incredible sponsor since my days of racing. I have been wearing Rudy's while winning races in the early 2000’s, to coaching my athletes to do the same now,” Siri shared. “Rudy Project has the highest quality and best looking sunglasses, along with the best helmets in the business. Most importantly to me, it is the never ending support that I get from this incredible company. They feel like family to me and this is what makes them a sponsor I will feel forever grateful to. Sharing this incredible journey of life with great partners like Rudy makes it all the more fantastic!”

Along with her impressive multisport race resume, Siri has served as a color commentator for NBC’s Olympic Games triathlon coverage and was inducted into the Brown University Hall of Fame in 2007 for her achievements in field hockey, ice hockey, and lacrosse.

“I just love Rudy sunglasses, as I have a favorite pair to fit every point in my day,” Siri said. “While training and racing I worked the Noyz. They are the best, as they are comfortable and totally protect my eyes from the wind, sun, and all the elements. They never fogged up and I thought they looked pretty cool too! For hanging out casual wear, my favorite glasses are the Skymajors. I love the way they look and they can be worn either casually or to a more formal event in the sun. My favorite coaching glasses now are the Warp, and for helmets, I was always racing ITU World Cups so I just used my Windmax. I love that helmet! If I ever did a non-drafting race, I would use the Wingspan. All Rudy Project helmets are just so amazing...comfortable and the best protection out there!”

Siri currently resides in Boulder, Colorado and coaches Team Sirius, a squad of elite triathletes from across the globe, which includes Rudy Project superstars like Rebekah Keat and Yvonne van Vlerken. To this day, Siri has worked with highly-decorated athletes like 2004 Olympic Games bronze medalist and Rudy Project athlete Susan Williams, as well as multiple-time IRONMAN® World Champion Mirinda Carfrae.
