Completing a triathlon was a bucket list goal that I decided to strike off the list as I turned 40. I signed up for my first sprint distance race and fell in love with the sport before the 1/2 mile swim, 12.3 mile bike, and 4.4 mile run even began. After that first race I was officially hooked and my life was changed forever. I wanted to do something in the sport, to be more than just a participant. After 12 years as a strength and conditioning professional and personal trainer I found my self in a unique position to do just that.
